How did the crew organise their roles?

Well I was director so I had the job off ordering the crew what to do . Every one worked really well together and very hard there was no slacking apart from a quick lunch break . The actors coperrated and it was easy to get them into their roles of dead bodies how dull it must of being for them.
Tamara was producer and co director with me and she easy to work with and put her opinion in if she didnt think it was just right
JJ was the main camera man and he managed to get some very lovely footage espically a birds eye view one of Rory in the first room lying down .
And Alex worked well recording the sound and giving me helpful bits

The Shoot Day

The day started at 9.00 am
We walked in to find the studio completley set up , everything looking brilliant .
The set was 2 rooms the first obviously where he awakes and the second with nasty suprise of living corpses. The night before we had also set up a metal bed which we had attacked with a hammer to make it look old .
The wall in second room we coverred in red diluted paint and spalttered it across the walls to make it look like it had been a real blood bath .

Mat and Luke had already started the task of beggining to set up all the lighting :
The Sunlight breaking through the window and the light bulb .

I started by running Rory the main actor through what he had to do , he grasped them very quickly and after about 5 or 6 run throughs he knew exactly what he was doing .
He had to stumble as if he had been drugged throught the movie.
All the actors at this point were in make up getting made up to look like dead bodies

White faces , purple under the eyes and bruises cut across there faces and bucket fulls of fake blood across the rest of there bodies .

We got Rory all made up to look verydrugged up and bruises all over his body looking very realistic .We filmed most of the shots in the first room

Actors finsihed in makeup at 12 and where down to start the first of the body pile scenes

We cut for lunch then we began filimg the rest of the bodies

We did torch closeups on individual faces and body parts . We then did the shot of Rory removing the tape from the person whos eyes flash open they scream amd grab him

Our last few shots were various shots of the torch
Then JJ got to go up in the crane so we were able to get a bird eye view shot of the whole of the first scene

The story changed only a little bit as we couldn't get the effect of having the actors mouths stapled shut we decided top just have blood coming out of there mouths
